Clariant, the Swiss chemical giant, has announced that it will consolidate its existing offices in Łódź and open a new local headquarters in the mixed-use Monopolis project by Virako. Clariant has signed a contract for almost 4,000 sq m. of modern office space, with the possibility for further expansion. On the historical premises of the former vodka manufacturing factory, Clariant will locate its Shared Services Center responsible for providing services in the areas of procurement, logistics and finance to customers and business partners from around the world. The Lodz unit is one of three centers operated by Clariant’s Global Business Services organization which continues to expand in order to effectively and efficiently serve Clariant’s global network. Over 300 people will be based at the company’s office in Monopolis.
The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) has leased approximately 5,000 sq m of office space in the ASTRIS office building in downtown Krakow. The lease was brokered by Julie Archambault, a Senior Negotiator in the Office Agency of global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, which is responsible for commercialisation of the scheme.
Ten prestigious brands, including Douglas, Cross Jeans and 4F, have renewed their leases at the Ferio Konin shopping centre while Diverse, a newcomer to the scheme, has taken up 195.67 sq m. Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield is the property manager of Ferio Konin. The retail complex is owned by Union Investment.

Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield represented Żabka Polska in its 100 sq m retail space lease at C building in the Spark complex. The investor of the Spark office complex under construction in Warsaw’s Wola district is Skanska Property Poland.
HOMEPARK Janki has renewed a lease with a retailer Komfort and signed up a new tenant Komfort Łazienki. The transactions, brokered by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, totalled nearly 1,400 sq m. HOMEPARK Janki is owned by Pradera.
Świat Dziecka, a retailer offering a wide range of products for children, has renewed its lease at HOMEPARK Targówek. Pradera, the owner of the retail park, was represented in the transaction by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, which is responsible for commercialisation of the scheme.
Solteq, a Finnish company, signed a lease for nearly 600 sq m of office space in the office building Wrocław 101, in Wrocław. The tenant was represented by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. The owner of the building is the Crownway Investments company, represented in the negotiation by the Knight Frank firm.
The Polska Bezgotówkowa Foundation, focusing on expansion of the payment terminal network in Poland, has signed a 265 sq m office lease at Centrum Królewska in Warsaw. The Rezydent Group, which owns the office building, was represented in the transaction by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. The tenant was advised during the negotiations by Kancelaria Brochocki.
