Last June, global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield was appointed as an exclusive commercialisation agent for building “B” of the LIXA office complex being developed by Yareal in Warsaw’s Wola district. The first phase of the development project (buildings A and B) comprising 27,900 sq m of leasable space is expected to be delivered to the market in Q3 2020.
Swedish fashion retailer H&M has decided to renew its 1,400 plus sq m lease at the Ferio Konin shopping centre. Union Investment, the owner of the complex, was represented in the transaction by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. “H&M is the world’s iconic clothing brand offering fashion and quality at best prices in line with the sustainable growth concept. Its lease renewal will certainly please all customers of Ferio Konin. The presence of such brands as H&M is strong evidence that Ferio Konin is the most attractive location for leading brands in Poland wanting to build a presence in the region,” said Edyta Paszkowska, Associate, Retail Agency, Cushman & Wakefield.
Eurofins GSC Poland has leased more than 1,700 sq m of office space at Katowice Business Point. Global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield advised in this transaction an affiliate of a global investment firm represented in Poland by Syrena Real Estate. “Katowice Business Point is a landmark office building in Katowice. Its tenants include leading Polish and international firms. CCC, a leading footwear manufacturer and distributor, has decided to renew its lease agreement at the Sarni Stock shopping centre in Bielsko-Biała and to expand its 700 sq m store to 1,328 sq m. In addition, CCC's store will be redeveloped and restyled in line with the tenant’s latest retail concept. The lease was brokered by Agnieszka Ługowska, Associate, Asset Services, Cushman & Wakefield.
The Bitwy Warszawskiej Business Center has received the BREEAM IN-USE certificate with a “Very Good” rating in Asset Performance and Building Management. The audit was conducted by a licensed assessor Grzegorz Dąbrowski, Asset Services of global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. CA IMMO is the owner of the office building. “The BREEAM IN-USE certificate awarded to the Bitwy Warszawskiej Business Center is a confirmation that the building meets the certifier’s requirements for a ‘very good’ rating although more than 15 years have gone by since it was delivered to the market. WeWork - the space, community and services provider focused on helping people create their life’s work - is announcing its arrival in Poland. WeWork will be opening its first location in Warsaw, on 50 Krucza, which will open late 2018.
Rockbridge Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych SA has leased 518 sq m at Centrum Królewska. The Rezydent Group, which owns the office building, was represented in the transaction by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. “The lease finalised by Rockbridge TFI S.A. pushed the office building’s occupancy level up to 86%. Centrum Królewska is popular with clients who benefit from its first-rate location close to the Świętokrzyska metro station and many bus and tram stops. The close proximity of the Saxon Garden is an additional asset,” said Dorota Mielke, Cushman & Wakefield.
