Capgemini relocates to CZ Office Park in Lublin
Capgemini, a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation, has leased nearly 900 sq m of office space in CZ Office Park in Lublin. The tenant was represented in the transaction by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield.
The Capgemini Group is a multinational with more than 270,000 employees across the world. In Poland, it has offices in Krakow, Warsaw, Wrocław, Poznań, Katowice, Opole, and Lublin. The company specialises in implementation of digital business innovations and solutions based on automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, data transfer and cloud platforms.
Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant during the negotiations of lease conditions.
“Lublin has recently attracted many BSS companies with its large pool of high-skilled labour and the availability of class A office buildings. The opening of Capgemini’s new office in the city was undoubtedly the highlight of 2019 on the local market. I am confident that CZ Office Park will meet the expectations of the tenant and its employees as regards an effective and comfortable work environment,” says Michał Grabowiecki, Negotiator, Cushman & Wakefield.
In Lublin, Capgemini opened a technical helpdesk department for clients of Cloud Infrastructure Services. The company began operations in the city in the first quarter of 2019 and to accommodate its rapidly growing headcount it has now relocated to an 888.63 sq m office with 129 workstations.
“Capgemini is not only a place for specialists and experienced people, it is also an excellent springboard for an IT career. Our Lublin office has hired a number of humanities graduates who wanted to change their career paths. We were looking for a place where all our employees would feel good and which would guarantee adequate security,” says Tomasz Trzaska, Manager of Capgemini Lublin Office.
Capgemini has moved to CZ Office Park A, which is located at the site of a former bus depot in Lublin. CZ Office Park is the largest office and service complex in Lublin so far. “Two office buildings have been put into operation: CZ Office Park A and the first phase of CZ Office Park 4U. Another building that will be part of the complex is scheduled to be delivered towards the end of the year. The project consists of two phases and features the highest quality standards in construction, technologies and materials. At full build-out, CZ Office Park will provide a total of approximately 80,000 sq m and is scheduled to be completed in 2025,” says Agnieszka Gułaś, Negotiator, Cushman & Wakefield.
