On 14 June, in the Holiday Inn hotel in Józefów, near Warsaw, employees of the global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield delved deeper into the ecosystem, that is the interdependence between environment and organisms. During a team building event, they have learned about the role insects play in our lives and made efforts to improve the condition of the local ecosystem and thus the whole surrounding nature by building nesting boxes, bird feeders, birdhouses and insect hotels.
To celebrate the National Dog Day in Poland, Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers International have organized a charity for four-legged charges of the shelter in Pomiechówek. The joint campaign was held next to Metropolitan building in Warsaw on 1 July 2019 and comprised painting kennels and collection of toys, leashes, blankets, and dog food.

Sagittarius Business House, an office building in Sucha Street in Wrocław, has received the BREEAM International New Construction certificate with an Excellent rating. It excelled mainly in transport, energy and water consumption, and waste management. An independent BREEAM audit of the building was conducted by WSP Polska Sp. z o.o. Between 27 May and 14 June 2019, ten commercial real estate firms will collect electronic waste as part of the Lose Your Kilowatts campaign. The EKON association will be responsible for waste removal this year. Nearly 80 people took part in the third edition of the Blue Charity Run, which kicked off at 10 a.m. on 12 April and was organised by global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield. This year its participants included for the first time not only Cushman & Wakefield employees, but also representatives of other firms. The city game “Across Wola for Autism”, developed by Adventure Warsaw, was a new feature of the run’s format. The funds raised thanks to the participants’ commitment totalled PLN 10,000 and were donated to the Mądre Główki Foundation, which supports families and children affected by autism.
